May 18-24

Been a good week. Was able to finish a project I was working on, freeing up a bunch of time, affording me extra time to spend with the sketchbook. It even stopped raining long enough to get some outdoor drawing in. At the recommendation of the nice girl at the art store I bought some Derwent INKTENSE colored pencils. Really a worthwhile purchase! I really like the brightness of the colors and the ease at which they blend, etc… I’m looking forward to spending more time with them. Well, enjoy this week’s sketches.

the rest of May’s sketches can be seen here!
